Hello, 2020

Hi friends,

Happy 2020! I hope that you’re settling in to the new decade and working on your plans and goals for the year ahead. I’m not a big resolution maker but I am planner, so I thought I’d share some of my goals for this space over the next year.

If you’ve been following me for a while (or even for a little bit) you know that I love fashion and beauty and inspiring people with my sense of style. I hope that since you’ve been following me you’ve grown more confident in your own style as well as in your ability to make the best choices for your life.

I’ve always believed that curating a wardrobe is similar to curating your life – you start with some classic pieces but you make a lot of adjustments over the years, adding new pieces that bring you joy and letting go of what no longer serves you.

As much as I love fashion blogging, I’ve struggled with burnout mainly caused by the need to constantly shop, take photos and produce new content to keep up with the industry standards.

I often feel that when things are going really well with the Blog, it comes at a sacrifice to my family and friends. My daughter and husband deserve my full attention and I don’t want to be thought of as the Mom who was always on her phone. I also wanted to make sure I’m connecting enough in person with people and not just through a screen.

I’ve been listening to what you guys have said about being somewhat tired of the fast fashion game from Bloggers and that you’d like something more realistic and sustainable.

So I’m super excited to announce my new concept launching soon that will allow me to blog and vlog more consistently and express my love for fashion without feeling overwhelmed.

Keep your eyes out for a big announcement on social media in the next few weeks. Thank you all some much for being the best readers – I appreciate each and every one of you. (P.S. Outfit details linked below)
